Hornet Community Marketing Manager, Taiwan

Do you want to join Hornet? We are looking for a Hornet Community Marketing Manager, Taiwan reporting to our VP, Head of Global Marketing, starting immediately.

We are looking for an ambitious, self-starting and hands-on individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

To assist the marketing team in Taiwan on Hornet’s Social Media channels, competitive positioning, growth strategies and building positive brand visibility.

What You'll Do:

  • Help the marketing team to develop a social media strategy that goes in line with the company’s values, attributes, and tone of communication
  • Lead all aspects of the competitive positioning of Hornet in Taiwan. Be the point person for all competitive knowledge of the gay app landscape in Taiwan
  • Report weekly on competitors and Hornet positioning in the market with innovative ways to maintain or increase market share
  • Translate any materials needed from English to Taiwanese
  • Contribute to the development of Hornet’s online marketing and outreach strategies
  • Post, participate on social media conversations, maintain, and ensure the success of the social media accounts
  • Coordinate with outside promotion and events vendors on behalf of Hornet
  • Find social media influencers and brand accounts in Taiwan to do paid promotional posts for all of Hornet’s brands
  • Research websites to place paid Hornet advertisements.
  • Locate any other marketing opportunities for Hornet (e.g. email lists, QR codes, store fronts, etc)

Who you are:

  • 3+ years of prior social media and community management experience preferred
  • Must be fluent in English and Taiwanese
  • Strong knowledge of all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok
  • Strong sense of ownership, ability to work independently, reliable and proven track record of driving products, campaigns and engagement
  • A creative person who enjoys collaborating in teams
