Do you want to join Hornet? We are looking for a (Junior) UX/UI Designer to join our product team as part of the growth organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a UX/UI Designer with at least 2 years of experience who is passionate about building user-centric products and thrives in a collaborative, fully remote environment.
Your Role
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
- Work on both web and mobile applications, ensuring designs are responsive and accessible.
- Assist in user research and usability testing, applying insights to improve designs.
- Contribute and maintain our design system to ensure brand consistency.
- Use tools like Adobe Creative Suite to enhance visual designs and create supporting assets.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions, offering fresh perspectives and ideas for new features.
Your Profile & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably with experience in product.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Experience creating user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from a diverse, talented team.
- Knowledge of user-centered design practices and accessibility standards.
- Passion for serving the LGBTQ+ community or an interest in contributing to an inclusive and meaningful mission.
